My husband Peter enjoyed holidays in North Haven when he was a boy and loved the area. I holidayed in North Haven a few times before we moved here in 2017. It’s a beautiful place and a friendly community.
Our introduction to First National North Haven was when we made the decision to move here. Peter and I were working in Exmouth, WA managing a holiday park. We had been exploring the country in our coaster bus, working at holiday parks in Airlie Beach, Echuca on the Murray River and Western Australia. The experience was wonderful, but it was always our goal to move to the Camden Haven.
We purchased a house through First National North Haven and rented it out until we were ready to make the move. Dealing with the team as buyers gave us insight into the nature of the business and the people who worked there. They were all so friendly and went above and beyond to look after our property.
After we moved to the Camden Haven a position came up with the team and I feel so fortunate that I was successful. I’ll be here until my working life is done, whether they like it or not!
I worked in bank management then real estate property management in Bathurst and to fit back into the role quickly after ten years out of the industry is testament to the support of the team here.
I enjoy getting to know our landlords and tenants, it’s part of the culture at First National North Haven that our clients aren’t just addresses in the system. Our process isn’t robotic, it’s personal and I find that rewarding. In turn, this personal approach means we give more constructive feedback and clear communication to our clients.
Peter and I are enjoying the Camden Haven lifestyle very much. We explore the markets and cafés regularly, go for walks along the break wall, and enjoy meeting new people. When people are applying to rent here, I love hearing their stories about why they want to live in the Camden Haven. It makes me appreciate that I’m fortunate enough to live here.
